1. About These Terms
These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the J&M Cleaning UK website and your engagement of our services. By submitting an enquiry, booking a service, or using our website, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.
J&M Cleaning UK is a cleaning services company based in Liverpool, England. Contact us at contact@jmcleaning.uk or 07501 248 495.
2. Services
We offer professional cleaning services including, but not limited to:
- – Domestic (home) cleaning
- – Student & shared house cleaning
- – End-of-tenancy cleaning
- – Mould removal & treatment
- – Airbnb & short-let turnover cleaning
- – After-build / construction cleaning
- – Landlord & lettings cleaning
All services are subject to availability. We reserve the right to decline any booking at our discretion.
3. Quotes & Pricing
Quotes provided (via form, phone, email, or WhatsApp) are estimates based on the information you provide. A final price may be agreed on-site if the actual condition of the property differs materially from the description given.
- – All prices are quoted inclusive of labour and cleaning materials unless stated otherwise.
- – Quotes are valid for 14 days from the date of issue.
- – Additional services requested on the day may incur additional charges, agreed verbally before work begins.
4. Booking & Confirmation
A booking is confirmed when you receive written or verbal confirmation from J&M Cleaning UK (via email, WhatsApp, or phone). Submitting a contact form alone does not constitute a confirmed booking.
5. Cancellation & Rescheduling
By you (the customer)
- ✓ Cancellation with 24+ hours notice — free of charge, full reschedule available
- – Cancellation with less than 24 hours notice — a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the agreed price may apply
- – No-show (cleaner cannot access the property) — full booking fee may apply
By us
We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule in circumstances beyond our control (illness, emergency, extreme weather). We will notify you as soon as possible and offer an alternative date or a full refund.
6. Access & Property
- – You are responsible for ensuring safe and unobstructed access to the property at the agreed time.
- – Any keys, door codes, or access instructions must be provided in advance.
- – Please inform us of any hazards, fragile items, or areas to avoid before the clean begins.
- – We ask that pets are secured or kept away from areas being cleaned for their safety and ours.
7. 24-Hour Satisfaction Guarantee
If you are not satisfied with the standard of cleaning, you must notify us within 24 hours of the clean being completed by phone, email, or WhatsApp, with specific details of the areas of concern.
We will return to re-clean the identified areas within 24 hours of your notification, free of charge. This guarantee applies to work within the agreed scope of the booking. It does not cover:
- – Areas or tasks not included in the original booking
- – Damage or soiling that occurred after we left the property
- – Pre-existing damage or stains that could not reasonably be removed
8. Liability
J&M Cleaning UK carries public liability insurance. In the unlikely event of damage caused by our team, you must report it within 24 hours of the clean.
- – Our liability is limited to the cost of repair or replacement of the damaged item (at fair market value), up to the limit of our insurance policy.
- – We are not liable for pre-existing damage, normal wear and tear, or items of exceptional value not disclosed before the clean.
- – We are not liable for any indirect or consequential losses.
9. Payment
- – Payment is due upon completion of the service unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- – We accept cash, bank transfer, and other methods confirmed at the time of booking.
- – Late payments may incur interest at 8% per annum above the Bank of England base rate, in line with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts Act 1998.
10. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
11. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. The current version will always be available on this page. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance.
